Mary Anne Harris

President & Founder

Mary Anne began her law firm career in 1990 and obtained her Paralegal degree in 1992. In 1997, she began as a law firm administrator where she reconciled escrow accounts.

During that time, she identified a need to provide the real estate industry with a more robust solution for escrow reconciliation.

In 2000, Positively Balanced was created to help law firms and title companies becoming compliant and reducing risk while increasing profits and improving business operations.

Vice President

As Vice President at Positively Balanced, Connie Bartlett is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. She brings more than 20 years of experience to Positively Balanced. Her experience offers a unique blend of leadership, vision, and knowledge.

Throughout her career, Connie has held executive leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies going through organic growth and expansion. Connie has maintained high levels of quality and service in every department or team she has managed.

In her personal time, Connie cares for her grandparents while spending time with her husband, dogs, and three kids.

Kelly Schomburger Padden

Kelly has been providing trust account reconciliation services in a timely, prudent and ethical manner for attorneys and title companies in the real estate closing industry since 2000. In addition to reconciling, Kelly has been able to assist in reviews by title insurance underwriters and help ensure that her client's reconciliation accounts are properly maintained.

Prior to 2000, Kelly served as a Senior Auditor, with First American Title Company for ten years.

Over the years Kelly has made presentations discussing the importance of escrow reconciliation and problems associated with lack thereof. She has also assisted with an FBI investigation finding proof of employee embezzlement and fraudulent activity that led to conviction.
