Mary Anne Harris

President & Founder

Mary Anne began her law firm career in 1990 and obtained her Paralegal degree in 1992. In 1997, she began as a law firm administrator where she reconciled escrow accounts.

During that time, she identified a need to provide the real estate industry with a more robust solution for escrow reconciliation.

In 2000, Positively Balanced was created to help law firms and title companies becoming compliant and reducing risk while increasing profits and improving business operations.

Connie Bartlett

Vice President

As Vice President at Positively Balanced, Connie Bartlett is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. She brings more than 20 years of experience to Positively Balanced. Her experience offers a unique blend of leadership, vision, and knowledge.

Throughout her career, Connie has held executive leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies going through organic growth and expansion. Connie has maintained high levels of quality and service in every department or team she has managed.

In her personal time, Connie cares for her grandparents while spending time with her husband, dogs, and three kids.

With over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, Keri Martin has built a distinguished career. She has developed a deep understanding of the banking world, having held leadership positions up to Vice President of Operations. She thrives in her role, where she is passionate about working closely with clients and ensuring a smooth onboarding process that sets them up for success.

Outside of work, Keri enjoys spending her free time on sunny patios, riding her Harley with her husband, and playing a little golf.

Kim is the Director of Personnel at Positively Balanced, where she has held various roles since joining the company in 2016. With over 20 years of prior experience in the software industry—from sales to operations management—she brings a strong foundation in business and team development. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on Alabama football in the fall.

Mary Jane Woody began her career in 1998 as a receptionist at a busy real estate law firm, where she quickly gained valuable insight into the world of real estate transactions. Over the years, she expanded her knowledge and experience, learning many aspects of real estate closings while also freelancing for various offices. After taking time off to raise her two daughters, Arden and Aniston, Mary Jane returned to the industry and took on leadership roles as the Sales Manager and then Business Development Manager for Positively Balanced, Positively Closed, and Real Estate Closing Path.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and traveling with her husband. When home, she can most likely be found watching football on her back porch or walking her doodle puppy, Sadie, by the lake.

Business Development Manager

Jennifer brings to Positively Balanced a unique and comprehensive background in the title industry. Over the years, she has been involved in every facet of the business. Her roles as a closing office pre-closer and closer, and also a licensed Realtor with 23 years of experience, provide her with an invaluable understanding of the industry from multiple perspectives. Her peers describe her as a marketing creative mastermind with a natural ability to communicate effectively and connect with people. Jennifer's creativity, dedication, and people-first approach make her an exceptional leader and an asset to our team.

Outside of work, she and her husband are raising their three busy children, Drew, Jett & Annie. She can be found showing houses, cheering in the baseball stands or having dinner with friends.

Melissa joined Positively Balanced in 2019, bringing with her a strong foundation in both administrative support and accounting. She began her career as an insurance secretary while earning her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, a combination that has shaped her problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Melissa thrives on overcoming challenges and enjoys being a part of the collaborative, positive team culture at PB. Her dedication and passion for her work make her a valuable contributor to our ongoing success.

Cindy joined Positively Balanced in 2019. In her current role, she is a seasoned Manager of Billing and Accounting. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional financial accuracy with her bookkeeping skills. With over 25 years of experience, she is a self-proclaimed number nerd.

When not working, Cindy and her husband, Mike, love to travel and spend quality time with family and friends. When she isn't spoiling her grandson, Cindy is a coffee enthusiast, cat whisperer, Netflix binger and always on a quest for the perfect pizza.

As our Compliance Director, she ensures that our operations meet the highest standards of regulatory adherence and industry best practices. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys staying active through workouts, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family.
